Plus: Automate your Email Workflow
Do you travel a lot, and don’t want to be forwarding emails to Tripsy all the time? You can set up some rules in your email client that will get you covered. Here are some examples:
Example 1: Forward all my reservations from X airline company to Tripsy:
- Get one of the reservation emails that they send to you, and check the subject of the email and the sender.
- Let’s consider that the email that sent you is reservations@airline.com
- And the subject is “Your flight reservation XYZ is ready!”
- Now go to your email client “Rules” configuration and create a new Rule.
- The rule will be:
- Forward all emails coming from reservations@airline.com with a subject that contains “Your flight reservation” to my@tripsy.app.
Done! Once you receive the email, it will be automatically sent to Tripsy from your email account and the flights are going to be imported on the app automatically, and the app will also track changes on the route: gate, terminal, time changes, etc.
Example 2: Forward all of my Airbnb reservations to Tripsy:
Create a new rule on your email client with the following properties:
Forward all emails that are coming from *@airbnb.com and contains in the subject “Reservation confirmed” to my@tripsy.app.
Example 3: Forward all of my Booking.com reservations to Tripsy:
Create a new rule on your email client with the following properties:
Forward all emails that are coming from customer.service@booking.com and contains in the subject “Your reservation * confirmed” to my@tripsy.app.
If your email client (Gmail, for example) needs a verification code, you will need to request the code to our support team, in order to have the confirmation number: just send us an email at support@tripsy.app and we will quickly respond it to you. 😊
You got the idea. 🤓
